For groms to get the most out of everyday surf, the Grom Phantom is a daily driver in grom sizes. The Phantom is a step-down version of John John Florence's favorite model, the Ghost. When we released the Ghost, we didn’t know how many people would embrace its unique design in all waves. 

However, feedback showed that it worked best in waves shoulder-high and up, so we created a step-down board. The Phantom brings that same feel to head-high and under days, which make up most of our daily surf sessions. The Phantom is a squashed-down, souped-up Ghost with added volume, perfect for everyday sessions in less-than-epic conditions. 

We kept the same Ghost rocker, adding more single concave to flatten it through the center. This helps create speed and flow without sacrificing the performance or feel of the original design. The added width in the tail and nose creates a fuller, more parallel outline that keeps speed through slower sections. 

The rails are full but not chunky, offering more floatation and speed without losing sensitivity. Best for waist-high to slightly overhead waves of all types, the Phantom is your daily driver with a high-performance edge.
