Who are Venture.

Venture Trucks is one of skateboarding’s most respected and enduring truck brands, with a history deeply tied to the evolution of modern street skating. Founded in the early 1980s by the Vitello family under the Ermico umbrella in San Francisco, Venture was created during a period when skateboarding was rapidly expanding beyond pools and vert ramps into street terrain. At the time, truck design was still developing, and most companies focused on heavier, bulkier models aimed at transition skating. Venture entered the market with a different vision: lighter, more responsive trucks built for technical control, grind consistency, and street performance.

From the beginning, Venture distinguished itself through innovation and its close connection to skateboarders pushing progression in real time. The brand gained major visibility when pioneering street skaters such as Mark Gonzales adopted Venture trucks. Gonzales, one of the most influential skateboarders in history, helped define street skating in the late 1980s, and his association with Venture gave the company instant credibility among a new generation of skaters.
