MAGURO - It means “blue fin tuna” in Japanese. One of the fastest fish in the ocean. This is the latest Sharp Eye small wave design following the modern 2 concept. The Maguro was designed as a mix between the classic San Diego fish and a modern twin.

The tail is a classic swallow (split tail) with 5” deep and 10” wide. This characteristic creates a sharp turning tail with a good amount of drive and hold. The bottom is a classic vee all the way to the tail; the deck is flat with a modern soft rail; the rocker/ foil combo was improved if compared with the traditional 70’s fish to allow the surfer to carve classic lines or to rip like a high performance small wave design.

The Maguro was designed in two versions., The classic twin keel or as a quad. It should be ridden 3 to 4 inches smaller than your height.
