What Surfboard Size For a Kid?
What Surfboard to Buy for a Kid?
- Softboard (or Foamie) - Softboards are the safest option to choose when your kid is learning to surf. Softboard are good for kids to try surfing for the first time to see if they will stick with it. Many advance surfers keep a softboard in their quiver long after they've progressed from the beginner stage. They are a lot of fun!
- Minimal Surfboards – these are the most stable board for learning on and can be passed on through the family. Kids can progress fast so smaller kids may want to move to a fish surfboard quickly.
- Fish Surfboard – our fish surfboards have extra volume and stability so are a great option for kids. Plus they look “cooler”. They can last a while as kids grow and progress.
